YKG PA/NJ: 1st meeting, 1st year!

Wow! We are so excited to join the YKG family. I remember when my mom first told me about YKG. I was thinking this is going to be a great opportunity to help others in the community. In the past years, I have been involved in a CSO (Community service organization) at school and really liked it. Giving back to the community is so important and the wonderful thing is that is a large part of what our religion teaches us to do too. We feel that YKG will not only be an awesome way to serve the community, but also to meet new friends. We want to thank the DMV YKG girls for providing us with so much support and guidance. They are such great mentors and role models for all of us. From the first time we met them, we knew we could always look up to them for support and guidance. We are so excited to start our service projects.

The first one is scheduled for December and we plan to visit a nursing home. The next one is in February and we will be cooking and serving breakfast for families residing at the Ronald McDonald house.
